Important Notice: BruteSight is an experimental threat intelligence platform. Use of this website, its API, and any of its services in a production environment is not recommended. Doing so may and will cause disruptions, outages, or unintended blocking of legitimate traffic. By using this service you acknowledge and accept these risks entirely.

1. Introduction

Welcome to BruteSight. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of BruteSight's website, API services, BGP threat feed, and all related services (collectively, "the Service"). By accessing or using any part of the Service you agree to be bound by these terms in full.

2. Not Suitable for Production Use

The Service is provided on an experimental, best-effort basis. It is expressly not recommended for use in any production environment, including but not limited to live network infrastructure, commercial routing equipment, customer-facing services, or critical systems. The threat data, BGP routes, and IP blocklists provided by BruteSight may contain inaccuracies, false positives, or stale information that can and will cause disruptions to your network and services. You use the Service at your own risk.

3. Use of Service

By accessing this website you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use BruteSight if you do not agree to all of the terms stated on this page. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must not use the Service to:

Engage in any illegal or fraudulent activity.
Violate the rights of others.
Distribute malware or other malicious code.
Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the API beyond its intended use.

4. No Liability Whatsoever

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, BruteSight, its operators, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and service providers shall have absolutely no liability whatsoever arising out of or in any way connected with your use of, or inability to use, this website or the Service. This includes, without limitation, any:

Network outages, routing disruptions, or traffic blackholing caused by BGP routes received from this Service.
Blocking of legitimate traffic, IP addresses, or services as a result of threat feed data.
Loss of revenue, data, business opportunities, or goodwill.
Inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated threat intelligence data.
Security incidents arising from reliance on or integration with the Service.
Service interruptions, downtime, or data loss.

This limitation of liability applies whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis, and even if BruteSight has been advised of the possibility of such damage. You use this Service entirely at your own risk.

5. No Warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, completeness, or non-infringement. BruteSight makes no guarantee that the threat data is accurate, timely, or suitable for any particular use.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms will be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of India, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Mumbai, India for the resolution of any disputes.
